Blueberry Pineapple Basil Mojito
Ingredients:
- 3 oz fresh pineapple juice
- 2 oz Non-Alcoholic Rum
- 1.5 oz simple syrup (recipe below)
- Soda water to top
- Fresh mint leaves
- Blueberries
- Ice cubes
- Pineapple slices for garnish
Instructions:
- In a glass, muddle blueberries, simple syrup and mint
- Add fresh pineapple juice, rum, simple syrup, and a few ice cubes.
- Top with soda water (optional)
- Garnish with additional mint leaves and basil leaves.
- Top it off with a pineapple slice.
- Stir gently before sipping.
Simple Syrup
Ingredients:
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- Mint and Basil
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, combine herbs, water and sugar.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Bring to a simmer and continue to cook for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool completely before using.
Store any remaining simple syrup in the refrigerator for future use. Adjust the sweetness of the simple syrup to your liking by adding more or less sugar during the preparation. Enjoy your refreshing mocktails!
